Dr. Mandel completed his electrophysiology fellowship at the Upstate Medical Center, Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, New York, following medical school at the SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York where he also completed his internship and residency and served as chief resident. He has served as Clinical Director of the Electrophysiology Laboratory at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Mandel has published a definitive textbook on arrhythmias, over 35 additional book chapters, over 350 peer-reviewed abstracts and journal articles, and has participated in over 150 symposia. He is a recognized international authority on arrhythmias and electrophysiology, has served on the editorial boards of several important journals and gives frequent international lectureships. Dr. Mandel is an expert in the diagnosis and treatment of complex arrhythmias. |
