Ultrasound Imaging
Ultrasound is the most popular method for evaluation of the heart and vascular system.
These are non-invasive tests performed at Cardiovascular Medical Group allowing the patient the comfort
of being in their doctor’s office as opposed to a hospital setting. There are no special
preparations necessary for the patient. It does not require the use of sedatives or
injection of a dye. Patients are able to relax comfortably on a bed without the discomfort
of any large equipment, which is especially important for those who are limited by claustrophobia.
