Dr. Bleifer is one of the founding members of the Cardiovascular Medical Group of Southern California, along with his late brother, Dan, and Dr. Harold Karpman.

Prior to CVMG

Dr. Bleifer served as a captain in the United States Air Force where he served as consultant cardiologist to the 3rd Air Force in Europe. He served for many years as director of the Division of Cardiology at Brotman Medical Center. Dr. Bleifer was with his associates, Dr. Harold Karpman and Dr. Daniel Bleifer, a co-founder of Cardiodynamics Laboratories, one of the first Cardiac Monitoring facilities in the United States. In addition, he was the director of the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit at The Mount Sinai division of Cedars Sinai Hospital.
