Prior to CVMG

He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. He was then selected to remain as chief resident at Hahnemann University Hospital. He followed that with a fellowship in Cardiovascular Fellowship at Hahnemann University Hospital. He then continued his training in Interventional Cardiology at Hahnemann University Hospital and a fellowship in peripheral vascular diseases and endovascular therapies at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts and Hahnemann University Hospital. After two years of private practice in Orlando, Florida, Dr. Dohad joined the Cardiovascular Medical Group in 2001.

Teaching & Publishing
He has published widely and is currently a principal investigator or co-investigator in 10 ongoing clinical trials including trials sponsored by the National Institute of Health. Some of the trials include carotid artery stenting trials, minimally invasive stent grafting or thoracic and abdominal aortic aneurysms, Aortic valve disease and cell therapies and interventional therapies for peripheral vascular disease.
