Cardiovascular Medical Group of Southern California is pleased to welcome Dr. Nupur Aggarwal, a board-certified internal medicine physician with fellowship training in bariatric medicine and nutrition and more than 15 years of experience caring for adults. She will join the practice full-time in November 2026 and is affiliated with Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
Dr. Aggarwal earned her medical degree from Maulana Azad Medical College at the University of Delhi, where she received multiple academic honors, including recognition as the best student in physiology. She completed her internal medicine residency and a fellowship in bariatric medicine and nutrition at Geisinger Medical Center.
Throughout her career, Dr. Aggarwal has cared for large and diverse primary care patient populations in California, Massachusetts, and Utah. Her experience includes outpatient primary care, hospital medicine, personalized primary care, and service as a hospice medical director. She has also served as adjunct clinical faculty at Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine.

As part of comprehensive primary care, she provides initial evaluation and management of common concerns such as anxiety, depression, adult ADHD, and sleep disorders, collaborating with mental health specialists when more specialized care is appropriate.
She is enthusiastic about the future of medicine and the responsible use of artificial intelligence and other advanced technologies to support earlier risk identification, more personalized treatment, and better long-term health outcomes. She combines these cutting-edge innovations with sound clinical judgment and the personal connection that remains central to excellent medical care.
Her research has included obesity-related gastrointestinal health, and she is a published co-author in the field of cardiovascular medicine. Her multidisciplinary background shapes a comprehensive and individualized approach to primary care.

She will join alongside her husband, cardiologist Dr. Aarush Manchanda.
