Prior to CVMG
Dr. Sharma completed his cardiology and interventional cardiology fellowships at the University of California San Francisco. His prior training included cardiology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and clinical research in cardiology at the University of California San Francisco. He joined the cardiology faculty at University of Southern California, Los Angeles. Dr. Sharma then joined the Cardiovascular Medical Group in 2009.
